I am often surprised that so many of my customers don’t know there is a screenshot tool built right into Windows, (Vista and later only.) There are many uses of windows snipping tool other than taking screenshots; it is useful for saving ‘receipts’ of online purchases, editing photos by cropping out the part of the image you don’t want to see, highlighting and/or circling parts of an image that you want to draw attention to, or use it to create your own maps buy cutting out the unneeded parts of your Google map. The images can then be emailed, stored or printed. The Microsoft Snipping Tool is one of the most useful apps you new knew about!

You can learn how to use it here: https://www.howtogeek.com/207754/how-to-use-the-snipping-tool-in-windows-to-take-screenshots/
